Pastor Chris Williams was a school teacher at Bishop’s School, Pune. He joined the Union of Evangelical Students of India in 1976. In 1979 he co-founded Love Maharashtra. About the same time he was instrumental in planting a local church in Pune called Disciples Community Church. He is currently Chairman of the Board of both of Grace to India and Love Maharashtra.
Chris has completed his Diploma in Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pune and has a Bachelor of Divinity from the Union Biblical Seminary, Pune. He now ministers around India and neighbouring countries including Myanmar, Thailand and Nepal majoring in training men in and for pastoral ministry. He is married to Leena for 35 years and they have 2 married sons and 4 grandchildren.
